Senior Electronics Engineer

Primary Responsibilities: The Senior Electronics Engineer will be responsible for developing microcontroller hardware and firmware for Reverse Vending Machines. They will test and validate hardware and firmware, develop new functions, and provide support for existing microcontroller electronics and firmware. In addition, the Senior Electronics Engineer will assist in building, leading and developing a team of engineers. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in electronic/electrical engineering or computer engineering. They must possess knowledge of automation technology and demonstrated experience leading a team. Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in designing microcontroller boards and programming firmware for embedded systems, based on 8-bit microcontroller in C/C . Knowledge of Atmel Studio, Atmel MEGA and XMEGA is preferred. The candidate must also have experience with testing hardware of embedded systems and serial interfaces, such as UART, I2C, RS485. The candidate should be comfortable working independently or in a team environment and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. They should be able to communicate with all levels of management, external customers, and vendors. Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this position. The candidate must be able to read and write in English fluently.
