Software Engineer - Ruby / Java.

2 new opportunities have become available with a well-known consultancy who provide end-to-end enterprise solutions for clients across central government, healthcare, global finance, and green energy.

They are looking to hire 2x Ruby Developers who have GDS experience, ideally someone with a wider background in the JVM space (Java / Scala / Kotlin).

These are permanent positions with a salary of up to c£60k doe, and can be based across the UK. Time in the office is project / client dependent, but flexibility will be needed here. Remote positions will not be available.

For this position you must have either active SC, or be eligible for security clearance.

Technical skills required:

• Ruby
• Java / Scala / Kotlin (desirable)
• Understanding of GDS (Government Digital Service)
• Strong TDD experience
• Love of pair programming
• Consultancy background is desirable but not essential
