Senior C Developer - Trading Exchange Platform - Up to 100k - London (Hybrid WFH)

A world leading international metals trading exchange is looking for a talented C Engineer to join its growing team. The company is one of the global epicenters for industrial metals trading and last year over $13 trillion pounds worth of trades went through there platform!

The company is used as an international epicenter to take on price risk in metal commodities and is a worldwide provider of global reference prices. The development teams are actually quite new to this company so therefore this will be a fantastic opportunity and shape the future of the entire development side to this company and work in agile and collaborative environments, there is a great opportunity for exciting collaboration within different teams.

They are looking for a talented C Developer to build out their greenfield trading platform! This is a unique and rare opportunity to build out the trading platform of one of the biggest Exchange companies in the world! You will also have the chance to develop the companies Market Data platform. There is also the chance to eventually transition into a lead engineer position if this is an ambition of yours (this is not a requirement if you don't wish to lead but the opportunity is there for you!)

Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and developing the organisations Greenfield trading platform in C
* Liaise with business analysts and architects, review and comprehend complex business and technical requirements.
* Design, develop, debug, implement, test and support software solutions, applications and services.
* Conduct and contribute to peer reviews of solution designs and related code, strive for improved quality with the goal of producing efficient, flexible, robust and supportable solutions.
* Maintain high quality code and have a problem solving mindset.

Essential requirements:
* At least 3 years commercial experience in C
* Experience in systems analysis, design and development
* In depth knowledge of designing and building server-side C applications
