Midweight Software Engineer - WMS & Logistics

An established retail/ec-com organisation is seeking a talented Software Engineer to support a major transformation programme. This role will focus on delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O WMS projects, helping to revolutionise warehousing and fulfilment operations.
Working within the Warehouse Development team, the Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement Dynamics 365 F&O solutions that integrate with large-scale automated logistics systems as well as ERP, OMS, and back-office platforms. The role is fast-paced and requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customise Dynamics F&O modules related to Supply Chain Management and Retail.
- Develop custom solutions within Dynamics F&O using X and C# to integrate with other business systems.
- Build applications and integrations using modern technologies such as Azure, Power Platform, and Fabric.
- Design and extend functionality within relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB).
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and end-user guides.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Stay up to date with emerging features of the Dynamics 365 platform to maximise solution value.
- Provide support for existing business-critical systems during the transition to new platforms, ensuring integrations maintain essential functionality.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in C#, SQL, and database design.
- Advantageous to have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, particularly in WMS and logistics-related modules.
- Ideal to have experience with X
- Knowledge of Azure services, Power Platform, and modern integration approaches
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Experience in large-scale logistics, retail, or supply chain systems is desirable.
