As a Software Engineer in the Customs Tech team you will be responsible for a full development cycle of a carefully monitored resilient system based on micro-services. Being a critical part of the business, the system operates on customs-specific data and processes millions of items.

Key requirements for the Backend Software Engineer

• 5 years commercial experience using Java, Kotlin or Scala.
• Expertise in micro-services architecture, distributed systems, RESTful APIs and event-driven design.
• Knowledgeable in data structures, SQL and NoSQL, Spring, and experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Interest and knowledge in Scala or similar languages are a plus.
