As an Engineering Manager for one of our Content Creation teams, you will shape the way fashion items are transformed into the Zalando article catalogue with your agile full stack team of ~5 engineers.

What we are looking for:

• Technical Leadership: 8 years hands-on experience in architecture, design and development of distributed systems. Knowledge of the majority of technologies from our stack which includes Java, GoLang, Scala, Kubernetes, AWS, SQL (Postgres), Kafka, JavaScript/React/Adobe UxP. Familiarity with content management systems, product information management or Machine Learning pipelines is a plus
• Leadership: experience in tech leadership as a team lead and a technical lead who is coaching and growing engineers. Caring for team health, software quality and business impact alike. Building & growing inclusive team environments
• Communication: Ability to align on business requirements and complex technical topics across roles, teams and cultures with a high level of communication skills. Be a role model for an open feedback based team culture.
