DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Spearheading optimization strategies within our AWS environment alongside the Director of Cloud Engineering
• Ensuring and maintaining regulatory compliance in our cloud infrastructure
• Managing the core Infrastructure as Code (IaC) supporting network, compliance, and security in the cloud environment
• Leading initiatives to establish and enforce publication standards for IaC code across Software Engineering teams
• Contributing to cloud environment audits and supporting integration projects
• Collaborating with the DevOps Specialist - Integrations to ensure team coverage during absences
• Implementing robust automation practices to streamline operations - "Automate All the Things!"

Requirements

• An Associates degree or equivalent work experience reflecting your proficiency
• Proficiency in Terraform
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Infrastructure management, specifically in AWS
• Experience collaborating with hybrid onshore/offshore teams is a valuable asset
• Proficiency in developing applications and tools using Object-Oriented or Functional programming languages
• Scripting capabilities in at least two of the following: Ruby, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
