Summary: My client is rapidly expanding and have recently opened a Miami office. Currently there is a core team in place but they are searching for an experienced CTO who will be able to run the Miami branch and hit ambitious targets for growth.

For more than 10 years, my client has specialized in providing software solutions in the fintech industry for partners with a global reach. Clients include huge globally recognized players in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Innovation at board level to identify new areas for company focus. This includes products (existing/new), international growth plans
• Assisting in the growth of the branch, on-boarding and training of IT managers/ lead engineers
• Conducting reviews of existing products or systems to evaluate their potential value for the business
• Identifying areas that can be streamlined to improve the businesses suite of products and services

Qualifications and Skills:

• Extensive experience leading a growing software function
• A thrive for innovation and software development in a Java/Spring environment
• Strong leadership experience, to steer the business towards the founders vision
• A solid understanding of business processes and functions
• The ability to think strategically, anticipate future market developments and provide technical vision
