Business Analyst - Hybrid - 3 days per week in London - FTC six months - up to £60,000

Role Summary

We're looking for a Business Analyst to be hands-on, covering process analysis, requirement gathering, and supporting the implementation of new systems. You'll work across multiple teams to drive efficiencies, test requirements, and help scale operations effectively within a mortgage's environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and improve business processes, systems, and workflows
  • Gather, document, and challenge business requirements across tech, underwriting, and operations
  • Support the design, testing, and roll-out of new systems and tools
  • Prepare reports and recommendations based on analysis and research
  • Track KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to project planning, prioritisation, and risk management

Experience & Skills

  • Strong background in UK mortgage products, regulations, and operations
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a project-focused role delivering outcomes
  • Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, and testing requirements to ensure accurate delivery
  • Confident in data analysis using Excel or SQL
  • Familiar with agile methodology and the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of mortgage systems such as LOS, servicing platforms, or CRM tools
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
