I am working alongside my client looking to build out their Back End Software development team. This client of mine is one of Europe's largest E-commerce platforms with B2C and B2B transactions. They are looking to continue providing the best experiences with online shopping and provide the best shopping consulting services on the internet. As a Backend Engineer within our Customer Conversion team in Berlin, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining technical solutions for our online store and platform components.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

• The ideal candidate has professional experience with Java, Kotlin and other JVM languages.
• Experience in building, maintaining and improving large Web Applications and REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns.
• Knowledge in automated deployment and monitoring through CI/CD pipeline (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
• Experience with logistics and fulfilment networks is a plus.
