Business Analyst - 2 days onsite, London/Tower Bridge - £50,000 - £60,000

We are partnered with a fast-growing digital specialising in the design and delivery of high-performance eCommerce websites for well-known retail brands. Their client portfolio spans industries including fashion, homeware, luxury, gifting, outdoors, food, and charity, working with household names and ambitious businesses alike.

As a Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between clients and developers, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements. You'll spend around 50% of your time client-facing, helping to educate, challenge, and guide clients while ensuring the development teams have clear, well-defined user stories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and clarify client requirements by working closely with project managers, account managers, and senior BAs
  • Translate client needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation for developers
  • Ensure cross-functional teams fully understand project objectives and priorities through backlog refinement sessions
  • Review project deliverables against requirements and participate in sprint demos to ensure quality
  • Advise clients on technical feasibility, helping to set realistic expectations and guide decision-making
  • Work directly with developers, strategists, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable eCommerce solutions

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on eCommerce-focused projects
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, workflows, and integrations
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, confidently managing client and developer discussions
  • Experience with Magento or similar platforms such as Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or SAP Hybris
  • Familiarity with APIs (SOAP, REST, GraphQL) and tools like Postman
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proactive, collaborative approach
