Principal Engineer.

Principal Engineer (Azure Policy Platform)- up to £140k 20% bonus

We're scaling a brand new team to build a one of a kind unified policy platform to support 15,000 developers across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) - designed to embed compliance, security, and policy enforcement directly into the SDLC.

As Principal Engineer, you'll help lead the Azure stream, building a secure, scalable platform that prevents non-compliant infrastructure from being deployed.

What you'll do:

• Drive end-to-end implementation of Azure-native policies and controls
• Build developer tools (CI/CD templates, IaC libraries, scanning automation)
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, cloud engineering, and security teams
• Promote shift-left and DevSecOps best practices across platform teams
• Architect policy-first solutions using Terraform, YAML, and IaC pipelines
• Act as a technical leader across 5 global teams

We're looking for:

• Strong Azure Azure security knowledge
• Deep IaC experience (Terraform, YAML)
• Familiarity with OPA, policy-as-code, and cloud governance
• Developer background (C#, .NET, Python, React, or similar)
• Experience with enterprise-scale platforms (ideally in regulated environments)
• Bonus if you've worked in finance and on AI strategies, youll be part of a brilliant team with autonomy and global impact.
