Lead DevOps Engineer | 100% Remote (In Germany) | C1 German | €85-100k | 2-stage Process

About the job

My client, a software consulting house, is located in Germany and serves clients across various sectors such as automotive, education, and the public sector. They specialize in operations, including Datacenter operations and cloud services like AWS and Azure. They assist their clients from engineering and establishing new infrastructure to maintaining existing and legacy systems.

As a reminder this is a fully remote role in Germany, a 2 stage interview process and they can offer a salary of €85,000-€100,000 per annum. You must be able to speak C1 level German and English due to engagements with clientele.

Requirements:

1. At least 4 years of experience in IT.
2. Knowledge from the Architecture at the top down to low level Linux internals 3. Experience with any modern CI system (Jenkins, GitlabCI, Github Actions, or Azure Pipelines).
4. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/Openshift.
5. Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools (ELK Stack, NewRelic, Instana, Datadog).
6. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TCP/UDP, etc.).

Nice to have:

- Kubernetes Certification (KCNA, CKAD, CKA, CKS).
- AWS Certification.
- Red Hat/Linux Certification.

You will be working from home for over 95% of the time but will be required to go onsite for one or two days per month - but this has not happened for several months.
