Senior Java backend engineer.

Senior Java engineer - Remote - Based in Germany - €75,000 - €95,0000

We are looking for great Java engineers to join our global Fin-tech company focusing on providing a seamless experience for merchants and customers through fair and transparent financial solutions. The company's flagship Buy Now Pay Later platform lets shoppers split their payments online and in-store with no interest and no hidden fees.

Tasks:

• Research, design, test, deploy & maintain high performance applications which is used by customers & partners
• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Tamara's engineering teams
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• Work with engineers across the company to build delightful features that span various parts of the system
• Collaborate with our business, product and operations teams to understand and solve our users' pain points.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Designing architecture using micro-services and cloud

Requirements:

• You have 4 years of software development experience
• You have strong software development experience using Java with Spring Framework, PHP experience would be a plus
• Good understanding of SOLID principles, Design Patterns and architecture
• Knowledge of AWS, OCI, Kubernetes, Docker
• You are proactive, goal-orientated and self- structured in your approach
• You have experience as a developer in a startup company - is a plus.
• Team player, creative thinker, passionate for exploring new technologies.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Must be based in Germany or Europe
