Head of Engineering.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to join a start-up bank who are about to enter their scale-up phase come 2023, where you would be heading up the Platform Engineering function of the bank and steering the direction for scaling the engineering team!

The perfect person for this position will be someone who has experience leading a Java-focused Development team, ideally in a fintech / financial services environment, and knows how structure a team effectively to optimize production and growth, particularly with feature development.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will have autonomy from day 1 and will have the opportunity to constantly bring new ideas to the table with the support of a company who will fully back you.

I'm looking to speak with creative and intuitive people for this position who are happy to get stuck in with the code along with the development team, as this is a scale-up company this is very important! The role will be paying up to £130k and will be based in London - they are ideally looking for someone to be in the office once a week.
