Founding Software Engineer

Remote (Preferably based in New York/Miami)

The technical landscape of this business is yet to be defined - are you the one to define it?

You will be working directly with the CEO as the Founding Software Engineer. There is no ceiling to this opportunity, your role will evolve and grow as the company does.

We are looking for those with a founder mindset, people who are ready to build and have the ambition to turn ideas and concepts into a reality.

Working as the main technical strategist, you will be taking on full responsibility for tech stack, product and building the Engineering function.

Your role:

• Work directly with the CEO to build the platform in Django, Python, React and TypeScipt
• You will be required to build scalable architectures that will allow for sustainable yet rapid growth
• Make key decisions on web technology and architecture within the business
• Commit to constant growth and development
• Machine learning models - will also be beneficial

We need:

• 3-5 years of experience building end-to-end modern web applications
• Expert with Django, Python or Java
• Exposure to any of the following; React, TypeScript, Angular
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Experience working with heroku or AWS infrastructure
