Technical React Native Developer - Tech4Good - Fully Remote.

I am proud to be closely partnered with an awesome tech4good business who is tackling one of the biggest threats, food waste! Ranked close to 1st in the top 100 places to work in the UK and working in a remote first model, this business is on a mission to change the way us as consumers think about waste and has successful raised a massive $43 million in series B funding.

The business was founded 7 years ago by 2 women and have now grown to 120 people, 30 of which are in the talented cross-functional technical team consisting of Front End & Backend Devs (Ruby on Rails), DevOps, Product and QA along with a HUGE 5 million active users and 50,000 passionate volunteers all driving their mission and bringing it to life in over 60 different countries…bonkers I know.

At this stage they are now ramping up the next stage of their growth with the first of many key hires being a talented Technical Lead React Native Developer to join them.

To kick off you'll be a seasoned dev who wants more than just being a developer, you want to apply your knowledge to develop a platform which will better millions of users globally while also directly impacting and fixing the climate crisis.

Technically you will have strong experience in:

- Vanilla JavaScript and Flow/Typescript

- Large-scale React and React Native web applications using AWS Cloud Services

- RESTful APIs

- Best practices and common pitfalls

- Push notifications / Store submission processes
