Technical Architect - 6 Month Contract - up to £600pd!

We have a great opportunity for someone to be a part of one of the UK's leading banks and work on an urgent and major project for the next 6-12 months! This project is long term and will stretch well into 2022 with a view to extend further.

Our client is looking for Technical Solutions Architect to assist with the delivery of their products and platforms. The primary responsibilities of the role are to work closely with the Head of Digital and other senior members of the team, to design and create innovative digital solutions and ensure that these are aligned with both our clients and our own internal marketing and sales department's business objectives.

You should also have a number of year's demonstrable experience of web, mobile and database development and have a genuine interest in development technologies.

Some of the primary responsibilities include;

• Designing innovative solutions to problems using the latest technologies and platforms, in support of both client and internal business requirements
• Build secure web and mobile solutions - writing code, testing and producing rapid prototypes. This includes writing and maintaining code for both new and legacy systems, across a mixture of client and internal technical projects in order to support the wider business with their everyday functions.
• Both lead and contribute to story-boarding and brainstorming exercises, and run scoping and design meetings or conference calls with clients
• Validate/QA technical solutions before handing over to client, including production of test plans and guidance to other departments on test methodologies

Some of the technical elements include;

• Experience of using modern web development languages. Java or .Net
• Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Strong experience of using JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and JQueryUI
• understanding of using transport technologies such as JSON, REST, AJAX and XML
• SQL programming
