Our client, a 100% mission driven brand that are tackling quite possibly the biggest challenge we face; climate change!

The software the brand builds helps speed up carbon capture process and their long term goal is to remove over a billion tonnes of CO2 once and for all.

The business is in scale up mode, currently close to 100 people we are looking for a Tech Lead to join the brand to help drive the technical direction.

We are looking for a highly skilled Tech Lead/Engineer who has experience architecting, delivering and deploying a range of production quality solutions, in the cloud. The business are tech agnostic and the VP of Engineering believes that good Engineers can work in any language (previous experience of C# and Python would be ideal). This role will require you to build a high performing, innovative agile team, coach, mentor and motivate the team to deliver.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on Tech Lead, taking full responsibility for the SDLC including some architecture and design working in collaboration with VP of Engineering and Front End Lead
• Line manage a small team of Backend Engineers
• Dive tech direction and best practice

Tech Stack:

• The business are tech agnostic and build custom SaaS but experience with a backend language like Java, C#, Python is required
• Cloud experience- Azure preferable
• Modern JS experience like React- desirable
• Microsoft Power Apps- desirable
• CI/CD
• TDD
