SPS Programmer.

We are working with an incredibly exciting business based in Koblenz, who are looking to strengthen their team by adding a talented PLC programmer to the team ands to help drive their next wave of projects forward.

You will be responsible for:-

• Managing order-related project processing, considering offers, calculations, and customer specifications.
• Developing PLC concepts and programs using Siemens Simatic S7/TIA software and/or Allen Bradley Studio 5000, along with associated visualizations.
• Conducting commissioning and troubleshooting of systems both in-house and at customer sites worldwide.
• Overseeing the commissioning of interfaces to subsystems, such as screwdriving technology, robotics, and image processing systems.
• Generating technical documentation in accordance with specified requirements.
• Calculating work packages and creating specifications for obtaining offers.
• Upholding the highest ethical standards and compliance with the ATS Code of Conduct.
• Ensuring the implementation of all health and safety regulations.

Education:

• Successful completion of a degree in electrical or automation engineering, additional training to become a state-certified technician, master craftsman, or equivalent.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in PLC programming (S7 classic and TIA Portal and/or ALLEN BRADLEY STUDIO 5000) and associated visualizations.
• Competent use of MS Office applications.
• In-depth technical understanding of automated production lines, assembly modules, and robot cells, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Knowledge in special machine construction, battery assembly, braking systems, roof modules for cars, mechatronic assemblies, electromechanical, and hydromechanical products is advantageous.
• Strong customer and service orientation.
• Ability to navigate a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Effective prioritization, simplification, and communication skills.
• Independent and structured working approach, along with a confident demeanor towards customers.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel is essential given our status as an international company

This role includes a generous package, with a salary of up to €65,000 available, a massive 30 days of annual leave and other perks and benefits as well.
