Senior Support Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Up to £500pd

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior engineer to join one of a UK's leading banks for an urgent and major project! This project is long-term and will stretch well into 2022 with an option for further extension.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and collaborative team player to join the Global eCommerce Infrastructure team as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer; to assist with the delivery of eCommerce Offerings and engineering of eCommerce Infrastructure technologies.

Some duties will include;

• Gain an understanding of Client standards; Focusing on external eCommerce Web Application/Service Delivery

• Gain an understanding of the eCommerce Infrastructure Operations Support requirements for on-boarding new systems
• Engineering of eCommerce Infrastructure technologies
• Creation of technical design's for eCommerce Application/Services

Some of the technical experience required includes;

• Building and managing systems in AWS or Azure (Other Cloud based hosting solutions)

• Solid experience of working in a high-pressure, large-scale, global environment.

• Solid understanding of distributed multi-tier web architectures.
• Supporting Microsoft Windows server platforms with IIS 7.5 & 8.5 and .Net
• Comprehensive network skills with a through understanding of TCP/IP & Name resolution technologies
