Senior Software Engineer (VueJS) Up to 60k Nottinghamshire (80% remote working)

A prestigious and successful Trading and stock exchange company is looking for a talented Software Engineer to grow its expanding and dynamic team. The company is one of the most famous and successful of its kind across the Globe; the total market value of all companies trading on this exchange is over £3.8 trillion!

As the Senior Software Engineer you will be required to develop the firms world class Post Trade products that have been used globally by hundreds of banks and financial institutions around the world. These products play a crucial role in running everyday world financial operations such as the Foreign Exchange and the money market.

Key duties:

• You will build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and secure code based on User Stories and software designs
• Through agile retrospectives and reviews, you will inspect and adapt, finding innovative ways to make your team work more effectively.
• Through participation in refinement and planning sessions, you will work with other team members to analyse development requirements, provide design options and complexity estimates, and agree how to deliver the requirements.

Things we love to see:

• Over 5 years experience in front end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Strong experience with VueJS (or ReactJS)
• Experience in other languages (e.g. Typescript/Python/Java)
• Experience of unit testing
