Principal Software Engineer (.NET Core/6, SQL, Microservices, AWS)- £55,000 - £85,000 plus package- 1 day a week Manchester

I am currently representing a world leading FinTech company who are looking for software engineers to join their Payment Systems Team.


Working with large scale, enterprise software, the system is responsible for communicating between third party vendors and banks!

Through their systems, my client helps integrate automation and visibility, allowing money to be transferred faster!

Within the team, there are both Senior and Principals (.NET Core/6, SQL, Microservices, AWS) openings:


As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for driving technical decisions within the team and reporting to the Software Development Manager.

You will also be responsible for 4 Engineers and 2 QAs within the team and work alongside another team of a similar size!

Seniors will help mentor juniors when necessary but spend the majority of their team developing!

This client is at the front of technology in their space and the applications are used by millions of people every year, they are high visibility and enterprise scale.


In return the client offers a competitive package up to £55,000 - £85,000, pension, 25 days holiday, share scheme, private healthcare, and L&D time!

This position is hybrid, however only 1 day a week in the office is recruited in the City Centre of Manchester. There is flexibility if the occasional week isn't possible.
