Senior Power Platform Engineer.

My client is seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer to join a thriving Digital Data & Technology team. You will contribute to the development of high-quality solutions and features, offering expert guidance on technical capabilities, defining complex projects, and reviewing technical design requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Power Apps, particularly Portals and Power Automate, as well as an in-depth understanding of SharePoint Online.

As a Senior Power Platform Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:

• Advising and implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions
• Gathering user and business requirements and software development needs through engagement across the organization
• Designing, developing, and implementing low-code/no-code applications and solutions on the Power Platform
• Adhering to continuous delivery framework and best practice Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Creating technical documentation for ongoing development and support of the solutions and applications, following the business's controlled software and configuration management, deployment, and publication processes for Power Platform solutions
• Being the technical subject matter expert for the business's Power Platform capability, providing technical escalation support to the engineering team
• Leading, mentoring, and contributing to the development of Junior Power Platform Developers and building a Power Platform Centre of Excellence, establishing and growing a wider business development community
• Conducting regular platform process and artifact audits, making and executing recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• Expertise in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of large-scale applications and solutions
• Proficiency in creating new PowerApps model-driven apps and enhancing existing apps, including using Dataverse as a data source
• Strong experience in Microsoft Power Platform development, including PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, and SharePoint
• Knowledge of PowerApps formulas and development techniques
• Ability to automate business processes using Microsoft Power Automate and AI tools
• Proficiency in creating custom connectors for Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience with API or Rest service integrations
• Willingness to learn cutting-edge Microsoft cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
• Ability to create Power BI reports and dashboards
