Our client are a global leader in advanced technology solutions, specialising in aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. With a rich history of innovation, they provide cutting-edge systems and components that enhance performance, safety, and reliability across various industries.After an incredibly successful start to the year they are looking to add an experienced, Senior HW professional to the team.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, validate, and certify production-ready analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware designs for electronically controlled continuous valves, with an emphasis on durability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Perform component selection, create circuit diagrams, and design circuit board layouts using Electronic CAD tools, while ensuring comprehensive documentation.
  3. Innovate and assess new design concepts, from initial ideation to prototype development for valve electronics.
  4. Collaborate closely with other departments, particularly embedded software, testing, product development, and qualification/quality, to maintain synergy in electronics design.
  5. Participate actively in hardware and process definition committees, contributing to the enhancement of the hardware development process.
  6. Serve as a mentor within our internal student education program.

Your Qualifications:

  1. Hold an academic degree, at least at the Bachelor's level, preferably with a Master's degree, in a field related to electronic design, encompassing analog and digital design, and communication technology.
  2. Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in successful mixed-signal design for industrial electronics, spanning the entire lifecycle of electronic products.
  3. Demonstrate exceptional conceptualization abilities for electronic designs and proficiency in evaluating novel design concepts.
  4. Exhibit expertise in various design objectives (e.g., Design For... - DFx).
  5. Possess strong proficiency in both German and English languages.
  6. Display effective communication skills, excel in team collaboration, and exhibit autonomy in problem-solving.
  7. Prior experience in electronics for hydraulics and proficiency in electronic CAD tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro) is advantageous.

This role is accompanied by a flexible working model on a hybrid basis, paying up to €100,000 for the right candidate dependant on experience.
