Senior Cloud Engineer.

Freelance Cloud Eng | €500-600/Day | Netherlands | Remote

Position Overview:

Join, my clients team as a Freelance Cloud Engineer and work remotely from anywhere in the Netherlands! They are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in Azure Powershell Functions and related technologies to help us build a serverless backend API. You will support their clients' public cloud initiatives and contribute to innovative projects.

Key Skills Required:

• Azure Powershell Functions: Expertise in HTTP Trigger functions
• Pester: Proficient in testing with Pester
• Azure API Management: Hands-on experience
• OpenAPI (Swagger): Experience with Azure Functions integration

Additional Skills:

• Ansible, Packer, Terraform
• Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Azure Virtual Machines (Windows, Linux) & Extensions
• Azure services: Webapps, Shared Image Gallery, KeyVaults, AD, Service Principals, Storage Accounts, ScaleSets
• Jira, Scrum methodologies
• VMware Workstation
• Networking and Security/Hardening
• Proficient with curl commands, API POSTs
• Ability to collaborate with Azure/VMware/security architects

Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks from the backlog according to priorities
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation using IaC
• Share knowledge on public cloud best practices and standards
• Provide operational support for the public cloud platform
• Respond to alerts and monitor events
• Support third-party changes and integrations

Support our clients' public cloud initiatives, including:

• Converting workloads to cloud-native to drive the OASIS PWD initiative
• Automating and orchestrating workflows based on CI/CD pipelines
• Enhancing use case definitions for the OASIS PWD cloud team

Compensation:

• Competitive day rate: 500-600€ per day
