Salesforce and Web Integration Platform Architect
Bengaluru/Remote - Contract role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce and Web Integration Platform Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture for the digital eB2B portal.
This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce (including B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and core capabilities), as well as knowledge of integration with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
You will be pivotal in designing, testing, and troubleshooting integrations, and you will work closely with various teams, especially our Marketing Cloud team, to ensure a seamless digital experience.
This is a contract position to be based remotely in India with occasional travel to the Bengaluru office
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Platform Architecture:
- Lead the architecture of Salesforce solutions for our B2B platforms, utilizing Salesforce B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and other core features.
- Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and ERP systems, primarily SAP, by overseeing the setup and functionality of middleware solutions like MuleSoft.
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot integration workflows, requiring some hands-on work within SAP and other ERPs.
Web Platform Architecture:
- Architect web solutions utilizing standard web tools and technologies, with an emphasis on B2B capabilities.
- Implement and optimize key web functionalities such as Google Analytics, CMS, search tools, mobile applications, and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate robust, scalable solutions that align with business requirements and best practices.
Solution Governance and Documentation:
- Own documentation and governance processes for all B2B architecture components to ensure best practices are followed consistently.
- Maintain detailed records and architectural documentation to support knowledge sharing, audits, and cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Cloud, to ensure that integrated solutions meet business and operational needs.

Collaborative Partnership:
- Work closely with the Marketing Cloud team to develop complementary solutions that align with broader marketing and sales strategies.
- Act as a key architectural liaison between technical and business stakeholders to promote integration standards and alignment across departments.
Qualifications:
Salesforce Expertise:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and related Salesforce solutions.
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end Salesforce architectures, with a strong focus on B2B environments.
ERP and Integration Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of ERP systems, especially SAP; capable of configuring and testing integrations between Salesforce and SAP.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms like MuleSoft for system integration, data transfer, and automation.
- Strong understanding of data and system integration principles.
Web Architecture Skills:
- Proficiency in architecting and implementing B2B web solutions, including Google Analytics, CMS, search functionality, mobile app architecture, and SSO.
- Knowledge of digital marketing technologies and standard web platforms for B2B environments.
Technical and Documentation Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to documentation, process governance, and adherence to best practices.
- Proficient in documenting architectural frameworks, processes, and troubleshooting protocols.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience as a Platform Architect or Solution Architect, particularly in B2B settings.
- Knowledge of additional web and mobile technologies.
- Experience in governance or compliance-oriented roles within the IT or digital marketing space.
