Summary: Collaborates closely with fellow engineers, proactively managing their needs and expectations within the organization. Maintains communication with Internal Teams and advocates for solutions and methods to businesses. Supports the sales, development, delivery, and maintenance of Electronic Automotive Products to companies by:

  1. Assisting the Product Project Leader in establishing trusted and open communication between businesses and our International Engineering Team(s).
  2. Serving as the primary technical contact for the Engineering Team regarding the usage and testing of products.
  3. Coordinating the release of product samples and SW updates to customers in collaboration with Technical Project Leaders.
  4. Assisting in the planning of deliveries and, when needed, performing SW Update, configuration, and calibration of Engineering Samples.
  5. Supporting troubleshooting, issue reproduction, and tracking to closure, including collecting information and data for the Issue tracking system.
  6. Assisting in Product Verification and Validation tasks, workshops, test campaigns, and test trips performed with the equipment.
  7. Proactively seeking customer feedback for delivered Products and Solutions.
  8. Demonstrating Product features and highlighting product maturity/integration progress.
  9. Supporting RFI/RFQ demonstrations when needed.

Requirements:

  • More than 8 years of recent technical experience in in-vehicle electronics development and testing; OR a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Electronics/Software/Telecommunication or any related field, including Physics.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, having participated in at least one delivered and SOPped ECU (Instrument Cluster, Head Unit, Infotainment System, Body or Engine Controller, Automotive Gateway, In-vehicle, or Head-up Display) or Complete Vehicle.
  • Experience in Development/Testing and Product Release.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Automotive Tools and Communication Busses (at least one of CAN(FD), LIN, Flexray, MOST, Automotive Ethernet).
  • Strong ability to learn technology development and address key problems.
  • Ability to express and explain problems, ideas, and suggested steps concisely and precisely.
  • Business level proficiency in both English and German required.
  • Team player.
