Principal .NET Engineer- Hybrid (London or West Sussex)- up to £75k benefits
Our client a leader in the technology space for customer experience, engagement, benefits and insurance who boast over 400 million end customers worldwide are looking to hire a Principal .NET Engineer to join their team on a hybrid working arrangement in either London or West Sussex (2 days a week in office)
The client have over 1,800 people working for them across a number of global locations and although you might not know the brand name, you will most certainly know their products!
Due to continued growth they are looking for an experience Principal Engineer to join their Insurance platform team, leading and mentoring a small team that will you have the opportunity to help expand.
The technical skillset we are looking for is;
- 7 years commercial experience with .NET (.NET6, C#, WebAPI)
- SQL, NoSQL
- CI/CD (Teamcity, Octopus)
- Redis, Elastic cache
- TDD unit testing
- Application architecture understanding
- Cloud- AWS preferred.
- Agile, Scrum, Kanban
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers
- Set technical direction and best practice
- Work closely with senior stakeholders
- Ensure delivery of software and documentations
- Support and initiate agile process improvements
- Contribute to regular team meetings
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Mentoring and leading small teams, regular goal setting and appraisals, personal development plans
