PHP Support Engineer

Our client is an exciting and fast growing Software Development house who do a lot of work in the Charity, Health and Education space with some of the top universities in the country as well as the NHS.

Joining a team of 8 Developers in a rapidly growing business, the ideal PHP Support Engineer will be keen to expand their skills and knowledge as they work on supporting multiple bespoke Software Applications.

You will work closely with experienced Senior Developers and Designers in a WAMP environment where quality is key.

The role is currently remote but when Covid-19 is over you will be expected to be in the office.

The PHP Support Engineer must have the following experience:

• Experience and an understanding of OOP and PHP Templating
• At least 2 years of commercial PHP experience
• MySQL
• JavaScript
• MVC
• HTML and CSS
• W3C Standards
• Ideally Subversion

This is a great opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer who is looking to expand their skills and use the role as stepping stone to progress with in the business to a Senior Software Engineer position or for a Support Engineer who would like to eventually build out a team around them and has a passion for supporting Web Applications.

£30,000-£35,000 plus loads of great benefits!
