PHP Developer.

My client are a leader in the Insurance and Warranty space and are looking for a PHP Developer to join them, this is a role remote role that would require to visit their offices in Leeds once a month for a ''Dev day'' in which you would enjoy a number of talks about the latest tech in the market before going out for a nice dinner!

You will be working in a team of over 30 developers in an environment that truly cares and focuses on personal development and growth. You will be working in an environment where knowledge sharing from all levels is highly valued, the culture my client fosters is very relaxed there are no set hours of work apart from standups you will be required in.

You can expect to be writing clean and secure code, operating service in production, working closely with your Principal Developer, working with Bas to write technical tickets, coaching and mentoring more junior developers and follow best practices set out by the team.

The ideal candidate will have the below skills:

• PHP
• Symfony or Laravel or modern PHP framework experience.
• Experience in Agile ways of working.
• Experience of unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with Docker.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
