We are working with a super exciting business in the art world who are on a mission to change how art is viewed and art businesses are run, they are looking for a Lead Web Developer to join them on a hybrid basis: ideally x2 a week in the London based office.

My client has a host of products designed for the art sector such as online gallery platforms, marketing tools, inventory management systems, CRMs, bespoke websites and more!

You will be working within a team of the business which operates like a mini agency within the larger company. You will lead the bespoke Web Development and Design team in the development of new products and websites which will be used both by my client and their customers.

You will be working closely with Developers, Designers and Project Managers. You will own the projects you work on and will have loads of opportunities to progress and shape the future of the team and the technical choices the company makes. This is a super exciting time to join the business as in the past year they have grown from 40 to 100 and have no signs of slowing down!

You can expect to make design and development decisions, mentor junior members of the team, build and deliver great websites and apps and more!

The Ideal skills we are looking for:

• Website Design
• JavaScript
• JavaScript Frameworks.
• jQuery
• HTML/CSS
• Experience with backend web development languages such as Python, Ruby or PHP etc.
• MySQL
• Experience leading projects and teams

In return, you can expect a salary of £65,000-£75,000 and a range of other benefits such as a pension scheme, Cycle to Work scheme, access to training and development courses, regular company and team social events, 35 days holiday including bank holidays.
