An exciting Head of Engineering opportunity has arisen with a top tech start up working in the AI and data field, the company helps small and medium enterprises as well as large corporations through digital transformation, helping upskill staff through a training platform. Trainees can use the platform at their convenience and work on real data sets and algorithms. They are currently working with some top names including Daimler, Deutsche Bahn and Axel Springer helping them realise their potential.

The job & responsibilities:
* Lead the development team both technically and disciplinary
* First point of contact alongside CTO for tech product dev.
* Planning and developing company software (Platform & Web)
* Mentoring, developing and growing the team
* Collaborating with other teams on product features and software projects

Your skills:
* Managing and growing teams for over 4 years
* Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
* Deep understanding of system architectures
* Planning and prioritize based on strategic goals
* You can speak both German and English
* Vast experience with Python
* Backend: Django/REST/GraphQL
* Frontend: TypeScript/JavaScript Frameworks
* Others: Node/Docker/Jupyter
