Head of Engineering | Hamburg/Remote | €140k

You will be joining an exciting business leading digitisation for a number of clients across Germany. You will have the opportunity to join an established business growing out a brand new team working within the e-commerce space to forecast and grow revenues.

You will work alongside the wider leadership team to grow the crossfunctional teams. You will also facilitate the right technical decisions and strengthen our engineering strengths to ensure the teams produce the best technology to help e-commerce companies.

Head of Engineering Role & Responsibilities:

• Leading engineers in a cross-functional team and growing high-performing inclusive teams
• Creating growth plans for teams and engineers
• Hiring and retaining the best engineers for your team to ensure the best team composition
• Contributing to our technology vision and strategy and helping engineers make decisions in line with it

Essential Skills:

• You have strong experience in leading, developing and mentoring cross functional engineers in an agile environment
• Experience JavaScript and Java
• A track record of delivering influential software, preferably in complex business models and previous e-commerce experience
• Living in Germany

• Salary package in the region of 110.000 - 140.000 EUR
