Head of AI Development - Computer Vision

We're a pioneering German start-up leading the charge in autonomous driving. We seek a passionate leader (PhD, 5 yrs exp) to head our AI development team, with a specific focus on computer vision and image recognition. You'll define the AI roadmap, develop cutting-edge algorithms, and propel us to the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AI for perception (vision, image recognition) in autonomous vehicles.
• Manage high-performing AI team.
• Develop deep learning architectures for object detection, scene understanding & sensor fusion.
• Integrate AI with other engineering teams.
• Lead the industry in computer vision advancements

Qualifications:

• PhD (CS, AI, Robotics) or equivalent.
• Proven track record leading AI teams (automotive a plus).
• Deep learning & machine learning expertise (CNNs).
• Sensor fusion experience (a plus).
• Excellent leadership & communication skills.
• Fluency in German & English (B2 )
