Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description:

Our company is seeking a talented and innovative Spectral Sensor and Automation Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, taking control of our spectral sensor and custom automation projects. Your mission will involve designing and implementing software solutions to control spectral sensors, including existing embedded systems such as Intel® RealSense™ and FLIR camera systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Spectral Sensor Control: Design and implement software solutions to control spectral sensors, optimizing performance and ensuring seamless integration with existing embedded systems.

  • Automation Solutions: Assist in integrating the spectral sensor into custom automation solutions, driving the development of embedded components to enhance imaging speed and capabilities.

  • Pre-processing Optimization: Perform initial pre-processing on the sensor to reduce bandwidth requirements and maximize onboard computing capabilities, ensuring efficient data handling.

  • Data Bridging: Bridge the gap between the spectral sensor and S3 buckets, facilitating seamless data transfer and storage.

  • Global Deployment: Travel internationally to assist in setting up the system, collaborating with teams worldwide.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience in software design and implementation for spectral sensors, with a focus on Intel® RealSense™ and FLIR camera systems.

  • Strong background in embedded systems development, optimizing components for improved imaging speed and capabilities.

  • Proficient in pre-processing techniques to reduce bandwidth requirements and leverage onboard computing resources.

  • Experience with cloud storage solutions, particularly S3 buckets.

  • Willingness to travel internationally for system setup and collaboration with global teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You must have:-

  • Excellent knowledge of programming in embedded C and C
  • Strong knowledge of Hardware Engineering processes
  • Good knowledge and understanding of scripting - including the use of Ubuntu
  • Have a willingness to travel and work face to face with clients.
