Embedded IT Specialist.

Our client are a leader within their industry and recruiting heavily at the moment to support business growth plans for this year. They are recruiting across the board but they are looking for an IT Specialist to join the team to assisst with some exciting projects.

Basic requirements:-

* IT specialist (computer scientist, IT specialist, IT developer or similar)
* System understanding of broadcast and media technology systems
* Extensive knowledge of the administration of Windows and Linux server environments, network infrastructures, virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V), and IT security
* Experience in the use of monitoring and management tools (e.g. Icinga, Nagios, Zabbix, Dataminer) as well as in automation (e.g. PowerShell, Ansible)

Preferred experience

* Installation and configuration of the Linux-based monitoring solution, including cluster systems.
o Ubuntu and RedHat
* Development of plugins for monitoring various IT / broadcast and media technology systems
o Knowledge of the protocols SNMP, REST API, MQTT, Syslog, TCP/IP
Priority 2:
* Programming knowledge in web development for frontend PHP/ HTML/ MySQL/ JavaScript

Communication skills in both English and German are crucial for this position

This role is paying a salary of between €50-65,000
