DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer

Your tasks:

* Development of highly automated environments for product development using our "Infrastructure-as-Code" approach.
* Architecture planning of our cloud, big data, and AI systems.
* Close collaboration with other teams, including requirements engineering and support.
* Design and implementation of measures to increase developer productivity.
* Implementation of best practices from Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
* Operational support, troubleshooting, and error analysis in our hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Your profile:

* Completed degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science or a similar field, but we also welcome career changers.
* Knowledge of modern cloud/DevOps topics (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible).
* Experience in database administration, as well as with big data systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3, Elasticsearch, Spark).
* Streaming knowledge (Confluent Kafka Platform) is a significant advantage.
* Knowledge in advanced network and monitoring management (e.g., SRE, AWS Network, Nginx, Istio, Knative, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack, Jaeger) is beneficial.
* IT security experience is also advantageous (e.g., OAuth, policies, RBACs, secrets, hardening).
* Fluent in German and/or English, as well as social skills to integrate into a team.
