I am working with a fantastic new start-up who is on the look out for an experienced data engineer to help come into the business and make a impact. You will play a central role in the development which will give you the opportunity to develop a product from scratch. Being apart of this amazing team will also give you the opportunity to impact the world in a positive way, You will create the basis for the energy supply of tomorrow and work with a unique model in the market which will help improve household energy systems.

Responsibilities:

• Development of the optimal control system for our energy system according to our energy management algorithm
• Elaboration of the most effective communication between the individual system components and the back-end IoT system as well as definition and compilation of the optimal hardware infrastructure and the required sensors.
• Appropriate transformation and adaptation power management algorithm, written in Python, into the embedded power management software

Requirements:

• 3 years experience using Python
• Experience using cloud and basic API
• Hands on experience handling lots of data (Big data background)
• AI development to predict energy requirements(deep learning)
• AI development and mathematical modelling
• Ability to develop structured coding and easy to maintain code
• English speaking
• Based in Germany (Munich)
