Angular Front End Developer - CONTRACT.

Seeking a Senior Front End developer to support my clients ongoing growth objectives. Reporting to the VP of Software Engineering, the candidate will contribute to the development of an Angular-based User Interface that interacts with a Java backend through REST web services. The role requires expertise in building intuitive and high-performing user interfaces using REST services. Proficiency in agile development and SCRUM processes is essential. Strong communication skills are crucial for effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.

The company provides a collaborative and productive work environment, prioritizing flexibility and support for their employees. While the company is based in Bristol, they have adopted a remote work paradigm. Therefore, remote work proficiency is required. The role is primarily remote, with occasional visits to Bristol every 6-8 weeks at the candidate's convenience.

 

Key Technical Skills Required:

  • 5 years of commercial Angular/Typescript development experience (essential)
  • Demonstrable experience with Angular version 14 or later (essential)
  • Proficiency in consuming and visualizing data through JSON/REST API (essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML5/CSS and best practices for Single Page Applications in Angular (essential)
  • Experience with SCRUM agile development methodology (essential)
  • Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger (highly desirable)
  • Experience in creating intuitive and visually appealing data-driven dashboards (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with Java backend (helpful)
