Job Title: Manual Tester

Location: Remote within the UK

Key Responsibilities

• Execute thorough manual testing to identify software bugs, usability issues, and functional inconsistencies.
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Document and report test results, ensuring clear and concise communication of issues.
• Contribute to automation testing efforts using tools such as Cypress, where applicable.
• Verify software changes, perform regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manual Tester, preferably within an agile development environment.
• Familiarity with test automation tools (Cypress experience is highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and QA best practices.
• Proficient in writing detailed test cases, defect reports, and clear documentation.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solid communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
