Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and architecture of the embedded systems platform
- Integrating custom payloads and communication protocols into the systems
- Ensuring vehicle functions comply with applicable regulatory standards.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced embedded linux knowledge
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the autonomous vehicle sector, preferably with drones (UAS/UAV).
- Proficiency in C/C and Python programming languages.
- Practical experience with open-source tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, Ardupilot, and ROS2.
- Strong understanding of the MAVLink communication protocol.
- Expertise in processing camera data for machine vision applications, including mapping and georeferencing, using standards such as STANAG 4609.
- Familiarity with machine vision cameras and the GenICAM protocol.
- Knowledge of 4G/LTE IoT communications and fundamental IoT backend systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
