About the Company:

We are seeking an ETL Developer to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL pipelines using Airflow and Python. This role involves database modeling, ETL development, and ensuring data is accessible and ready for analysis and you will be working closely with the CTO.

Role Overview:
The Senior/Lead Database Engineer will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing database systems to support the company's gaming platforms. In this newly created role, you will handle all database-related tasks, allowing the Head of Engineering to focus on broader responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design and maintain ETL processes to support data flow across systems.
• Airflow Pipeline Management: Develop and manage workflows with Apache Airflow for task automation.
• Python Scripting: Use Python for data transformation, cleaning, and automation.
• Database Design: Design efficient database models and schemas for analytical needs.
• Data Quality: Monitor and resolve ETL issues to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3 years in an ETL development or similar role.
  • Expertise in Apache Airflow for workflow management.
  • Strong Python skills for ETL and data transformation.
  • Hands-on experience in database modeling and designing relational databases.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in SQL and SQL-based databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
