Senior Software Engineer (Java) | Munich | €85 - 105k | Hybrid

Company Overview:
Our client, a leading software house in Munich, specialises in the development of desktop applications using Java. They are expanding their team and are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer.

Main Tasks:
- Design, develop and maintain desktop applications using Java.
- Working with teams to define and implement new features.
- Mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in software development using Java.
- In-depth knowledge of desktop application development.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and German (C1 level or higher).

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with GUI frameworks.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Familiarity with software testing and performance optimisation.
