Embedded Software Developer.

We are looking to speak with Embedded Software Engineers who are looking for a new challenge in Hamburg, Germany.

Our client are a giant within both the automotive and industrial industries, having undertaken a range of exciting new projects in the last few months they are very keen to expand their Embedded software engineering team.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Devise and implement software solutions for embedded devices and systems, covering the entire journey from initial requirements to production and commercial deployment.
2. Design, develop, code, test, and debug system software.
3. liaise with the HW engineering team
4. Evaluate and improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
5. Integrate and validate innovative product designs.
6. Collaborate closely with hardware design and development teams.
7. Assess third-party and open-source software options.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Proven track record in the dynamic field of software engineering.
2. Good knowledge of HW processes
3. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
4. Hands-on expertise in both development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
5. Proficient programming skills in embedded C
6. Good knowledge of English
7. German speaking s a bonus, not a nessecity
8. Proven experience in embedded systems design, particularly with preemptive, within the industrial industry
9. Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review processes.
10. In-depth understanding of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems.
11. Adequate proficiency in reading schematics and data sheets for components.
12. Exceptional documentation and communication skills.
