Lead Full Stack .NET Developer- Remote (once a month)- up to £100k

Our client a leading challenger bank that specialize in offering services for SME's are currently looking to expand their development team due to organic growth and with the view to open new workstreams in 2024.

The client are based in Central London but offer a remote working policy with once a month on site.

Responsibilities for a Lead Engineer:

• Lead a workstream of Engineers to enable them to build reliable, scalable and maintainable products
• Responsible for technical delivery within your workstream within agreed sprint
• Communicate business requirements, advise where enhancements and improved can be met
• Design Resilient, scalable solutions, architectural best practice
• Code reviews
• improve code quality and reduce technical debt
• Ensure blockers are removed
• Set Technical direction
• Work with Engineering leadership team on development best practice and keeping up to date with technology advancements
• Team appraisals, coaching and mentoring, engagement, performance reviews
• Interviewing and hiring process

Tech Stack:

• C# .NET (variety of versions from 4.5 to .NET 6, in 2024 there will be a big upgrade project to .NET8)
• Monolithic and Microservices architecture
• SQL
• WebAPI
• JavaScript (ModernJS frameworks Vue, Angular, React- will be transitioning to move just React)
• Nunit,XUnit, MSTest

Desirable:

• Docker/containers orchestration
• RabbitMQ/IBMMQ
• OWASP
• Azure
