Devops Engineer.

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of highly automated environments for our product development. You will be responsible for architecting our cloud, big data, and AI systems, collaborating closely with various teams, and implementing measures to enhance developer productivity. Your expertise will be key in implementing best practices from Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and providing operational support for our hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop highly automated environments for product development using an "Infrastructure-as-Code" approach.
• Architect and plan our cloud, big data, and AI systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Requirements Engineering and Support.
• Design and implement measures to increase developer productivity.
• Implement best practices from Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and perform error analysis in our hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of modern Cloud/DevOps technologies, such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience in database administration and familiarity with Big Data systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3, ElasticSearch, and Spark.
• Proficiency in streaming technologies, especially Confluent Kafka Platform, is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of advanced network and monitoring management concepts, including SRE, AWS Network, Nginx, Istio, Knative, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK-Stack, and Jaeger, is a plus.
• IT security experience, including familiarity with OAuth, policies, RBACs, secrets, and hardening, is advantageous.
• Conversational proficiency in German and strong English language skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
