RF Engineer Job Description

Are you a seasoned RF engineer with a passion for enhancing wireless communications? Join our team and collaborate closely with wireless network experts to assess, maintain, and optimize our radio frequency networks. We are a tech for good start up specialising in the development of highly complex sensors, and now looking to add a RF Engineer to our successful and international Hardware team based in Berlin.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the calibration of RF test equipment to meet industry standards.
2. Work very closely with Antenna parts and creating and maintaining RF circuits
3. Management of whole HW development process
4. Perform testing, maintenance, and packing of field equipment.
5. Travel to customer locations and field sites for on-site evaluations.
6. Conduct performance assessments of existing wireless networks.
7. Analyze RF broadcasting equipment and propose enhancements.
8. Utilize computer software to design RF installations for new wireless networks.
9. Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions.
10. Conduct laboratory tests on RF equipment.
11. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
12. Frequency range is up to 2.5 GH

Requirements:

1. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an RF engineer in the telecommunications industry.
3. Profound expertise in LTE and RF networks.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
5. Knowledge of RF hardware systems and testing equipment.
6. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

This role is paying up to €65,000 a year with a portion of shares in the business which could be incredibly valuable in the near future.
