My client, a software consulting house, is located in Germany and serves clients across various sectors such as automotive, education, and the public sector. They specialize in operations, including Datacenter operations and cloud services like AWS and Azure. They assist their clients from engineering and establishing new infrastructure to maintaining existing and legacy systems.

My client is in search of a talented and motivated DevOps engineer. The role involves working remotely with their German clients. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a willingness to acquire knowledge in new technologies, programming languages, and other necessary tools for success.

Requirements:

1. At least 4 years of experience in IT.
2. Advanced proficiency in the German language is mandatory.
3. Moderate knowledge in at least one of the following programming languages (Java, Python, Go, Nodejs/Typescript).
4. Experience with any modern CI system (Jenkins, GitlabCI, Github Actions, or Azure Pipelines).
5. Experience with Docker and preferably a basic understanding of Kubernetes/Openshift.
6. Familiarity with any configuration management tool.
7. Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools (ELK Stack, NewRelic, Instana, Datadog).
8. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TCP/UDP, etc.).

Nice to have:

- Kubernetes Certification (KCNA, CKAD, CKA, CKS).
- AWS Certification.
- Red Hat/Linux Certification.

You will be working from home for over 90% of the time but will be required to go onsite for one or two days per month.
