Software Engineering Manager- London- up to £150k plus bonus and benefits

Our client a leading financial services client that focuses predominantly on commodities and the forex market are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join their team purely due to organic growth.

This role sits within their global payments team and they are looking for someone who can not only be 30% hands on but also run the team on a day to day basis but also be heavily involved in architectural decisions, technical decisions and strategy.

The Tech stack the client utilizes is;

• Java and C#
• Modern JS frameworks
• NodeJS
• Microservices
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Cloud
• messaging tools like Apache and Kafka
• TDD/BDD
• NoSQL

Ideally the candidate would come from a financial services/fintech background but this is not a necessity.

This role would be hybrid working arrangement with 1-2 days a week in London office
